Preparations for the 10th annual Sharing Banquet are underway. The Sharing Banquet provides an opportunity for us to share God’s work and his faithfulness, and to extend an opportunity to our friends to make a faith investment in continuing the ministry.

The banquet takes place this year at 7 PM on Thursday, October 26. That date is significant in that ten years earlier, the papers were signed which established Harbor House Maternity Home on East Fayette Street in the former Gibbons Hospital building.

Unlike most other years there’s not a featured speaker this year. Instead, a number of the girls and women who have been recipients of our help and services during the past ten years will be will sharing their experiences. We also plan to have a surprise special guest along with some surprise news to share with our guests.

Another change from the past few years is a return this year of the banquet to its hometown of Celina. Newly opened Romer’s in the Galleria (the former Harts store) will be hosting the event. You can expect the same fantastic food that Romer’s Catering, which began humbly in the back of Neil and Karen’s little store in Burkettsville, has become famous for.
